I wouldn't usually start off the newsletter with a bunch of numbers, but these ones seem important to note: +2u yesterday, +4.5u last three days, +7.5u last seven days, and +9.8 units won in February. Pretty damn good stretch. One would think that, given our commitment to not charging anyone subscribed to the WHOP for a losing calendar month, we would play things a bit smaller and safer tonight on the last night of the month. Nope. Literally the exact opposite.
We have 11.6 units of exposure on Friday’s NBA card currently, all on bets that were given out in the WHOP Picks chat earlier yesterday evening. The three amigos (Fids, Drew, Ian) went HARD on this card. So many great spots, including our best bet still available of Suns -6.5 currently -108 at FanDuel. I know... it's the Buns (not a typo), but we know Zion doesn't play on back-to-backs and the line is already -7 at sharper books. We've actually taken the largest position of the SEASON on the Suns in this spot. The following were whop releases sent out around 11:30PM ET: Suns -5.5 (1u), Suns -6 (2u), Suns -6/Under 237.5 Parlay (1u) and Under 237.5 (1u) were all sent out. 5 units on this game in various positions.
I know that it’s late for some and perhaps inaccessible at that hour. However, if you are someone who is awake and willing to place a bet at 11pm ET, the whop chat is probably the sharpest community for grabbing great numbers on openers and overnights and beating the closing lines on north of 80% of the bets placed. Our secondary metrics are the reasons for our results.
Also, YES - you did see a parlay noted in there. This was one of the times to break the no parlay rules. It is the first parlay of the calendar year, second of the NBA season. We will review good parlay strategy on the livestream tomorrow morning. In fact, for a best bet right now Suns -6.5 and Under 236.5 is still probably worth placing together as long as the correlation isn’t a complete rip off. A 2 leg parlay is usually +264 with no correlation tax, we paid +248 on the SGP at better numbers, so around +250 or slightly worse should be excepted and is acceptable.
If you are someone who regularly bets parlays, show up to the live stream at 10am ET and at least learn how to do it the right way.
