Cold Front on NBA Playoff CLV
I just had one of those “huh- thats kinda funny and makes perfect sense” moments. A gamblers epiphany perhaps… Calling the recent cold run I have hit over last few days a cold front is kind of the perfect terminology. I’m going to start using that more often.
Not to get too nerdy, but a cold front is when cold air pushes underneath the warmer air and it leads to rain. A metaphor for what is happening here. I have consistent bet slips ahead of the market at tip, just relaxing in some warm air with flexibility and options. Then the game happens, my market value is swept away with some cold air, and subsequently there is a rain on my expect +EV parade.
And like all weather patterns, it comes and goes… Keep giving me the warm tickets, eventually we also get blazing hot.
Few quick notes then let’s get outta here.
1️⃣ No new bets added as a result of tonights games, next substack email will be when there are new bets to give out
2️⃣ April Stats coming hopefully tomorrow, definitely this weekend
3️⃣ I had the opportunity to fill in as the host of Action Network’s Buckets podcast earlier today! Cool moment for me personally, and I think it was an awesome show where I was joined by Andrew O’Connor Watts (@nbaWatts) to break down Friday May 3rd NBA Best Bets. Here is the link, please check it out!
So we stay organized, here are my upcoming cards.
