Is this the biggest trade in NBA history?

The night Luka got traded to the Lakers instantly goes down as a bombshell night a la Paul George and Kawhi teaming up for the Clippers, or even going back to Lebron and “The Decision” when joining the Miami Heat… It didn’t take long for Shams to tweet something bigger than Woj ever did at ESPN; that the Lakers acquired Luka Doncic from Dallas and sent back Anthony Davis.

There are so many more questions than answers at this point, but I hopped in a Live Stream at nearly 2AM ET and started going through a lot of those questions. Why would Dallas do this? What else could they have gotten if they opened up the bidding more? How does this change LA? What comes next for guys like Jimmy Butler or De’Aaron Fox?

I instantly started calling people to see who was awake to record with me, but no one was. I actually think it was best done as a solo show, as I was just incredibly energized and coherently rambling the entire train of thought.

Lastly, the most actionable betting angle from this is to play todays UNDER 237 in Cleveland vs Dallas. I don’t see how this doesn’t totally rock the Dallas locker room. How do they get up for this? How do they push pace 48 minutes in a high scoring road matchup? I like the -13, I like the Mavs team total under, but felt the best place to play it was under 237. I would imagine just like me, the Mavericks players are up talking, scrolling the internet for reactions, unable to comprehend why their fearless leader is gone whilst on the road at 2am before a day game inbound.
