Monday Night Football Best Bet
Reverse Line Movement is happening, take action!
Sunday Week 5 treated me well, it was a low volume card but I went 2-1 for +0.65u. I previously saw nothing catching my eye for this Monday Night Football game, until Reverse Line Movement became apparent this morning. I am taking some action now because my favorite sports book indicator is loud & clear.
The game opened at Raiders -1.5, and the line stuck throughout the week with basically no movement. Money was coming in on the Packers, despite the splits showed bigger bets on the Raiders side, and a line that was not moving despite likely showing Raiders to be the “smart” side. But then last night into this morning, all of the 1.5s started becoming 2s and 2.5s, I rechecked the betting split data, and it became clear this is Reverse Line Movement.
Despite a majority of bets and money on the Packers side, the books made it easier for the Packers to cover and win going from +1.5 to +2.5. Thats a 5 alarm fire to actually go the other direction and grab the Raiders, the side the book wants to bet on, and anytime the book is showing they are gambling, we want to join them!
I am doing it only for 0.5units because I think the Raiders kinda stink, I think the Packers are sneaky good, but at the end of the day I don’t bet with my sports opinions, I bet with market indicators, and they are strong here.
