🚨 NBA DFS Weekly Wednesday Private League 🚨
Subscribers to my various content channels, Substack/Twitter/FBI Discord/Podcast listeners are all invited to compete in a private DFS league that will run every week on the big Wednesday NBA slate. Right now its slated for $10 per week, and top 3 win. I would love to get this to 20-30 weekly entrants, happy to change any of the settings as the group sees fit.
Here is the link to sign up: Join the league, then enter a lineup! Feel free to share it with a friend as well!
Ok here are the Best Bets for Wednesday 10/25:
Boston Celtics -2.5 (1u)
This line was posted early and felt like a total trap spot, but I decided to play into it anyways. Despite 90% of the money on the Cs, the line stuck at 2.5 for a long long time. Now that even more bettors have entered the NBA market since the season has arrived, the books couldnt handle the money on the Cs side and had to move the line out to 4. The Knicks have played the Cs very well the last few seasons with these core teams, however I felt the addition of Jrue Holiday and Porzingis helps the Cs combat the way the Knicks matchup well against them, and now this feels like a great skill matchup for the Celtics. MSG will be nuts for a home opener, but hopefully the Boston team can quiet the crowd.
Houston Rockets +3.5 (0.75u)
I plan to ride the Rockets early this season, and I don’t think the Magic are poised for this big rising season like many expect. Love the coaching and veteran additions to this Rockets team. With the line moving to +4.5, its not ideal, but I think the Rockets can win outright early and often against younger teams.
Cleveland Cavaliers -1 (0.75u)
The cavs are the night one road team without Jarrett Allen, so despite gaining 1.5 points of CLV with this line now at -2.5, I dont love it like I once did. I hope Mitchell shows up playing in his hometown NY, I hope Garland has something to prove after an awful showing in the playoffs, and I hope Evan Mobley is set to take a big leap. The offseason additions of Strus and Bang Bang Niang make me really like this team to rack up regular season wins. Lets hope it starts tonight. I think these cavs should win 50 games this season.
Timberwolves +1 (-108, 0.75u)
I plan to ride Wolves and fade Raptors this season, and I am of the mindset that the rest rules will make stars play more on the road and higher minutes, and home court advantage will prove less impactful. The wolves have a quick trip north and look to start the season strong. They have so much talent and need to stay healthy, whereas the Raps have lost talent and may end up trading more. The line has bounced around the 1, which we know not to be very significant in NBA, but the vig has changed on the +1s still available.
Jazz +1.5 (0.75u)
The public money is coming right back in on the Kings and against the Jazz. Im simply fading 90% of money on one side without any line movement, thats suspect as heck. If it was 60/40 we’d probably even see some RLM, but at 90% its gonna stick and stay. Give me the home team Jazz, theres a reason these casinos make so much money.
Mavericks -4.5 (2u)
Mavericks/Spurs Ov 227.5 (3u)
I 5 unit hammer coming down on Wembys first game. The mavs play no defense and score at will, the Spurs play with a relentless pace and put up a ton of points. I also see the Spurs playing Sochan at the point guard against Luka/Kyrie in a league thats trended to favor guards and wings. Give me the proven talent and the over! The initial spurs action was based on preseason them playing very well, and the mavs looking horrible. I dont react much based on preseason, obviously.
