This was a simple and clockwork grab. When an NBA line opens at 4, universally moves to 4.5, and shows 5s popping up in multiple other books, you grab it. If you see the wave of movement actively happening, get in and ride the wave. I was willing to pay -115 juice on a spread because I could tell this number was going and I know my 4 common outcomes and the value of the -4.5 spread number. The 76ers are a road favorite against a scrappy Orlando team, but they carry a nice health advantage here having Embiid and the Magic not having Franz Wagner. I am ok playing it at the 5 for a slightly smaller position.

These were very clearly early market sharp sides! I tweeted out a picture noting to grab them both early because of anticipated movement. Hornets playable to -4.5, Nets under 227, but reduce the bet size if you get a much worse number and still want to play it! I have a good historical track record of backing a disastrous Hornets team in the right spots, and fading the Spurs. I also have been crushing on Nets unders recently, so lets hope these all come to fruition!
