NBA Best Bets Monday April 1st

Another strong day! 3/4 on Substack Plays, opened 2 middles and hit the bigger one, 3/3 on player props for Action Network. +1.3u on the official FiddlesPicks tracker.

We ended up skipping Check Ball this Sunday because it was Easter Sunday, duh! I totally forgot as I was typing up yesterday’s email and wrote it would be a 4pm show. My bad! Back to a normal podcast schedule this week, including an appearances on Buckets tomorrow at 11PM ET. Hawks @ Bulls Under 224 (1.5u)
Im about to hop in my time machine, travel back 4 hours, and make this like a 6 unit bet. Ultimately, I played this line for 1.5u, only a bit more than my normal amount, on a line that was universally available. I did not have my normal indicators to know for sure which way this would trend. I had some books show the open to be 223.5, but they could take over money just as easily as 224 takes under money and reach a flat middle. But it was just as the Minnesota game wrapped up on Sunday, I knew the Bulls were going to have to travel back to Chicago for the second leg of a B2B. Despite being the home team, this was a travel night. I knew the Wolves game was physical and went down to the wire. And I knew the injuries to these teams have depleted some of the shooting and floor spacing. So I played an under for only a bit more than my standard, but now the lines are at 222 and I know I nailed the read. I would still play any number above 222 (PointsBet and MGM have 222.5 at -110, DK has it at -112). I also like the Bulls to win but haven’t played it yet, I think Jalen Johnson may play, and some Bulls may be listed as questionable, there may be a better number coming to play small later on.
