Nets @ Raptors Un 216 (0.75u)
This was a straight CLV play. I saw the opening line was 216.5, the consensus on the board besides draft kings was 215.5, with one 216 left to strike. So I picked it up, liking the under direction in the current NBA scoring climate, liking that these teams are rushing to the end of the season. I will very likely play some of this back the other way, I did not foresee huge CLV to be gained so it was a small play but simply picking off a good market number.
Lizards @ Bulls Un 226 (1u)
The running joke is the Washington NBA team has far more Ls than Ws, so Lizards is actually a more appropriate name than Wizards. The Lizards injury report feels maxed out, with Kuzma/Poole/Tyus as the major names, but role players fill out a basically full roster on the inactive list. I felt this game should be priced closer to 222, despite the fast paced the Wizards normally play with. I went for 1 full unit because stronger conviction in the number and more room to play it back at higher value.
Mavericks -7.5 (1u)
Dallas has to play with a serious sense of urgency down the stretch. They missed the playoffs outright last year, finishing as the 11th seed, and now sit in the 8th seed play in. It would be catastrophic for the Mavs to miss the playoffs again, so look for them to play strong basketball to close the season. Here they travel to Utah on rest, so low concern for the elevation. They are fully healthy. And we get the 7.5 before the move onto the 8, the last of the key numbers I truly care about. If you see this at -8 or more, consider playing the ML for 1u and less return, the security of the number is probably worth it.
