Saturday was absolutely epic!!
3-0 in NFL Best Bets, +2.75u 💰
Timberwolves smashed, +3u 💰
The Hawks/Cavs arbitrage was over a 9% ROI position. 💰
While I did not hit the super ceiling of the Hawks/Cavs middling my numbers, every position I had came out profitable.
The result was being up about 12.5units in one day and growing my entire portfolio roughly 15%. WOW. I have a detailed bankroll management strategy that allows me to increase my bets at scale with my growing bankroll. From a dollar amount (**cough cough, the part that matters the most**) this was amongst the most profitable days I’ve ever had.
I have a few spots on the board tomorrow. Three of them are pending NFL bets from my Full Week 15 card (sent out yesterday). They include:
Bills -2 (1.5u)
Rams -6.5 (0.75u)
Saints -5.5 (0.5u)
Remember you can listen to my podcast breaking down Week 15 NFL Best Bets in 15 Minutes on The Advantage Sports Betting Podcast Feed
As for the NBA… the straw that stirs the drink… my bread and butter… the Brandy to my Eggnog… I have 2 small bets for Sundays games.
Golden State Warriors -4 (0.5u)
The dubs finally made a change to the starting lineup by benching Wiggins and starting Podz. This helps for a few reasons. Most obviously, Wiggins has been bootyloo 💩😂. But more importantly, Wiggins can play next to CP3 who is ball dominant, and Podz can play next to steph and co create. When Podz is next to CP3, he is off ball and unable to play his game. When Wiggins and steph are together (especially without Dray), the ball stays in Stephs hands too much and he is such a prolific off ball mover. The combo of Podz/Steph and Wiggins/CP3 is a much better basketball fit. Brandon Podziemski is shaping up to be Northern California Austin Reaves, and im totally here for it.
The Warriors are on the second leg of a B2B and missing some key pieces, and on the road. Not the ideal situation to back this team. However they get the Blazers who have been featuring Scoot and giving Toumani Camara nearly 40 minutes a night. I think the Warriors be ok so I will make it a small play.
Boston Celtics ML -325 (1u to win 0.31)
Cs vs Magic is the battle of the wings! Tatum and JB are the veteran example of what people think Franz and Paolo could become (slightly different play style, but you get the idea). The difference here is the guards and bigs, and HEALTH. Magic are still down Fultz, Carter, and Jalen Suggs is questionable after missing Saturday practice. The Celtics on the other hand have all their core guys, which features the best starting 5 in the NBA. The Celtics are at home, and have dropped a few to the Magic in the last 1.5 seasons. I expect the Cs to handle business here and take down a depleted Magic team.
The reason to play the ML and not the -8 is because the line movement from 7 to 8, and now -8 represents being on the wrong side of the four most common NBA outcomes. Once a line has moved through key spread numbers, I would rather just play the money line for the same typical spread risk, and just take home smaller return.
