There are clear market signals towards Kevin Durant playing, so I will back the Suns in a few directions here. If/when KD is ruled active, the total climbs as does the spread number. My decision to play the total more than the spread was because I knew there were already 229.5s on the board, so I was more confident in the way this was going to move. We also have Memphis playing great and the Suns struggling, so I’m glad I am playing the total more.

Matchups matter!!! The Pelicans play the Kings well. They are 3-0 against them already this season which included the first elimination round of the play in tournament. That game closed at Pels +3.5, and the Pelicans won outright by 10, and now it reopened at 3.5 again. Snag.
Clippers -3.5 (0.75u DraftKings)
Matchups matter pt 2!!! The Clippers play the Lakers well. They are 10-1 against them in the last 11, but lost the most recent contest earlier this season. The Lakers are one of the dullest teams in the league, the Clippers are one of the hottest. I expect this number to close at 4/4.5 and is worth just getting ahead.

Both of these plays have some market signals that show I will obtain closing line value and have a good ticket. Playing a Pistons under isn’t great right now because of how pace up they are playing, mainly since Bogdonovic returned. The Mavericks I am glad to back the over because of how much they are pushing, and they are getting healthier. Despite my basketball feelings, they are market plays because the market is smarter than me. So if I beat the market, I win money.
