Last night was the anniversary of Kobe’s 81 and the association did not disappoint! Towns had 62, Kevin Durant had a ridiculous game winner on a 40 piece. But the story of the night was Joel MVPiid, scoring 70 and giving Victor Wembanyama his “Welcome to the League” moment. Must watch sportscenter highlight day!
Betting wise it was another winning evening. I went 3-2 and hit the live middle in the Suns total that I wrote about seeking.

Clippers -350 ML (1u to win 0.29u)
The Clippers have owned the Battle of LA teams, winning 10 of the last 12 contests. In addition to dominating the head to head series, we have the Clippers as the mutual arena home team, no Lebron James in this one with an ankle injury, and the Clippers healthy and rolling. With Harden/PG/Kawhi expected to play, I don’t see how the Lakers can keep pace. The point spread is beyond the -8 threshold I like, so just give me the ML for normal risk, small return.

Some mixed signals here, likely some sharp groups on both sides of the line given the movement. The open was 239, first move was down to 238.5. Books with the 238.5 started taking under money in addition to be lower, so I jumped in on an available 239. Waited an hour, watched the board in other spots, and suddenly there are 240.5s popping up!? Oh no!! Ultimately it has ticked back down. Sharp money likely on both sides, my money on the under which appears it will be the CLV side.
