Well, after going a week straight having winning days, we aren't going to get 365 of them this year. There was real hope there for a second 😂. Celtics and Rockets covered, we picked off two unders, but missed on props tonight. Props are always going to be higher variance positions, so having a rough night in that market is not going to be as uncommon. What was uncommon however, was the finish to the Hawks @ Jazz game last night. I'll let the Atlanta announcers take it from here:
As Hawks -5.5 ticket holders, we were hoping for overtime, but damn was that awesome to see. Trae Young still has the best extreme deep ball in the league. He made me eat my words from this morning's live show where I had to open my mouth and say that Jalen Johnson may already be the best player on the Hawks.... sorry about that one. Say it with me now: I will never tempt the gambling gods again.
Looking forward to tomorrow's games, we've already gained some CLV on Pistons -6.5 placed at BetMGM. The Nets are a full fade right now and jumping on the opening lines against them is probably a good idea. The line is currently at -7.5 juiced to the favorite with some sharp books already posting -8s. This is Drew writing, but Fiddle posted on his twitter the screenshot while -6.5 was available.
