NBA Thursday & Some NFL Week 10
A new batch of Best Bets for both NBA Thursday and NFL Week 10. Enjoy π°
π NBA Best Bet Thursday November 9th π
Atlanta Hawks -3 (1u)
This is a very clear sharp read and line movement cap. The line opened at 2.5, moved to 3 and some places are starting to juice the favorite side to -112 or -115. With 60% of the bets and 84% of the money on the Hawks side, I foresee this pushing out to -3.5 or -4. The Hawks are well coached and playing quick, this may give the young Magic who tend to play slower a bit of fits.
π NFL Week 10 Best Bets π
New Orleans Saints -2.5 (1.5u)
It is truly not a NFL weekend unless Iβm backing the Saints. Back to the well! They play against Joshua Dobbs and the Vikings. This Saints defense is a different animal than the Falcons. The Saints are veteran led and coached by a defensive minded Dennis Allen. They also can throw the ball, and they will play in an opposing dome stadium. Grabbing the -2.5 now before it moves to 3, a pricey move!
San Francisco 49ers -3 (1.5u)
I am getting in for the 49ers for maybe the first time this season, and its because they are finally really fairly priced. Iβm not sure if this is buying low on the 49ers or selling high on the Jaguars, but a 3 game losing streak on the SF side and a 5 game win streak on the Jags side both seem deemed to end. The jags have beaten the sharp side of games week after week, and the 49ers are starting to get more healthy and I expect them to pick up right where they left off. This sits on the 3 but i do expect all of them to be swallowed up and the line to close at 3.5 or 4.
Seattle Seahawks -6 (2u)
This feels as much a fade Commanders as it is a ride the Seahawks. Its also a line movement cap, its also a key numbers cap, and its also a buy low and sell high⦠lets go through it all! The line opened -5.5, and there are 6s and even 6.5s popping up on the board. Because the 6 occurs around 10% of the time in NFL games, its definitely a key number for betting (one that actually exceeds the worth of any NBA number)! We are also seeing 59% bets, 79% money on the Seahawks on Fanduel, and 69/89 splits on DraftKings. We also have the Commanders coming off a win vs the lowly Pats (who I am finally out on⦠for now), and the Seahawks getting waxed by the Ravens. Well the Ravens may be amongst the best teams in the NFL, and the Patriots amongst the worst. Lets not read too much into that sample size, and get back to recognizing the Commanders are selling pieces in a yard sale, and the Seahawks have been buyers adding talent. Talent and coaching win, and a strong home field advantage. This is a strong spot for Seattle.
