OKC @ DAL UN 218 (-110, Bet365, 0.75u)
The outlier from game 2 in this series was the Mavericks scoring 22 more points than they did in game 1. It was a drastic difference that felt due to great shooting. I do not want to call it shooting variance, because that terminology implies it felt luck based, when in reality OKC was willing to give those shots up. PJ Washington hits 7-11 3’s, Luka starts the game going 3/3 from deep and tacking on a quick 16, Tim Hardaway Jr closes the game with a few big corner threes. I really trust coach Daigneault to make some sort of adjustment, likely Josh Giddey out of the starting lineup but also a more deliberate effort to closeout against the corner 3. I continue to really trust the Dallas defense on the other side, and think despite OKC being one of the leagues best shooting teams, they are young road playoff team in a hostile Dallas crowd. I expect physicality, a slower game than 1/2, and an under spot.

IND Pacers -5.5 (1.25u, -110 DraftKings 1u)
This spread line felt like a gift, and was an instant 1unit play in a time of the year when I scale back my exposure. I even added on 0.25u at the -113 currently available at BetRivers. The Pacers closed as a 7 point favorite in Game 3, were the clear sharp side, led the entire game until NYK had moments of clawing back, Divencenzo catching fire, taking a brief lead before ultimately relinquishing it late. Also, the Pacers had moments of being sloppy! I expect OG remains out, I expect the Pacers to clean up and play with more confidence having finally knocked off the knicks one time. I also am very confident in a Pacers whistle, which showed in Game 3 and may be a squeaky wheel gets the grease after Indy complained about all 79 calls from MSG.
