Gridiron Gold: 18 weeks of Expert NFL Betting Strategies

This is a project I am so excited to announce and an idea I’ve sat with for a while. Throughout this NFL season, I am going to be writing a weekly article series that highlights an expert in the NFL betting space and deep dives a strategy they are known for.

Each week you will meet a sports gambling industry leader and learn about one of their key betting strategies. I will explain it through the lens of that weeks NFL odds, and culminate the strategy with an applicable best bet.

There are many topics I know are going to come up, but when is based on how the season is going! I promise you will meet and learn about Stanford Wong and his rules for obtaining value in teaser bets. Billy Walters actually quantified a point spread value for a Super Bowl Hangover. Warren Sharp maps out rest advantages, and they strengthen as the season progresses. Ben Fawkes will help us price the difference between a teams starting QB and their backup when an injury is sustained.

On Wednesday you will receive the PRELUDE to this project which details my introduction to sports betting and why I’m the right person to write this series.

On Thursday you will receive WEEK 1: THE MOST FUNDAMENTAL GAMBLING RESOURCE WITH SPANKODDS. I had the pleasure of hoping on the phone with Spanky last week about this project.

After writing them all out and checking the current best available number, I realized I had a clean sweep on +CLV positions, and this is BEFORE WEEK 1 HAS EVEN KICKED OFF! I know I am good but I did not expect this, it is fucking nuts! Literally none of these numbers are still available.

The only bet where the line didn’t move is Olave Over receiving yards, but the vig went from -110 to now -125. I would not recommend tailing that anymore.
