What an ELECTRIC night in the NBA Playoffs! ⚡️🏀⚡️🏀

Two games, down to the wire, massive shots in the final seconds, and unbelievable games for basketball fans. Donte DiVincenzo in the Knicks game, Jamal Murray in the Nuggets game, two home court heroes were on fully display tonight. While I am excited to listen to all the post game quotes and some experts weigh in, we got more bets to dive into, and Monday was another dominant night in the NBA, +2.1u.

Oh there were 3 games? Yeah no one watched Cavs/Magic, but we did cash Cavs -5.5.

This is clearly developing as a sharp side that was an overreaction to a ridiculous Dame Lillard 35 point first half. Giannis is still going to be out, and the Pacers should close closer to a pickem. Only 0.75u because we are playing into the +1.5, a low outcome NBA number that I wont plan to play back. I also have Pacers futures that would get sticky if they go down 0-2. I am hoping for a Pacers win in G2, and then I can consider a decent Bucks series price if I am looking to hedge. No need to decide that now, just know Pacers +1.5 is worth it.

I am not sure if this has now gone too far the other way. I am not sure with Suggs possibly out if we see more Cole Anthony/Fultz minutes which ticks up the offense and pace of Magic. But what I do know is that BetRivers was hanging the only number above 200, giving the hook with the 200.5, and offering it sub -110. For those reasons I had to take it. I can later decide to add any sides in this game, but nothing as of now! I do feel the Cavs are just so superior, but home team down 0-2 is a real trend…

Speaking of that home team down 0-2 trend, we are going to hear a lot of it before Thursday’s games, and I will dig up some data on it. But when I recorded the 5 tips playoff podcast, I mentioned trends may be more reliable in the NBA Playoffs, and specifically cited home team down 0-2. I have felt the 76ers are the better team (with injuries/outlier Knicks shooting in game 1), so give me the talent, the coach I love (Knicks Nurse 😂), and the best player at home. Sixers -3 was an instant grab because there was also all other 3.5s on the board.
