Fade the “Zombie Bulls”!
Chicago has four road games this week, all on the West Coast, including a tough 3-in-4 nights stretch starting Monday. Expect inflated stat lines for opposing shooting guards’ PRAs and centers’ PRs—look at D. Booker, Z. LaVine/J. Val, and A. Reaves/J. Hayes.
Pacers are down Pascal
Indiana gets another four-game week. The WHOP got in early before the Siakam news moved the line from -3.5 to -7. I’m tracking his “personal” OUT tag on a standalone game—this could be a key indicator moving forward since the Pacers have a 3-in-4 stretch ahead.
Will Orlando find its Magic again?
They play just two games this week, starting late on Wednesday. They get a rematch at home against Houston before traveling to Washington to pummel the Wizards. I’m eyeing Paolo Banchero’s under in points and threes—he’s been on fire lately, but his uncharacteristic 37.2% 3PT and 63.5% True Shooting are unsustainable. Also like team total unders for teams opposing Orlando and the defensive intensity should be there.
Lastly, oh boy! The Sacramento Kings.
Sabonis was rushed back from a Grade 1 hamstring strain, played 30 minutes in a loss, aggravated it, and is now magically OFF the injury report for Memphis. Sacramento begins a 7-game homestand but faces a high-paced Grizzlies-Cavs-Bulls stretch that features Jaren Jackson Jr. who also returned two weeks early from a Grade 2 ankle sprain. I’ll be fading Sac Town’s tired legs, especially against the Bulls. Also look to Sabonis unders if he has to play less minutes.
