Week 1 Full Betting Card
Here is the final betting card for week 1, my Core 4 for DraftKings Daily Fantasy lineups, and a guide to handling buybacks if you tailed these spots.
Enjoy your Sunday!
One thing I would like to review is “Buybacks” in NFL Gambling. Also referred to as a Middle. These are very important in NFL Gambling.
A buyback is when you bet the other side, opposite your original bet, before the game starts, and do it with varying exposure based on your +CLV position. Outcomes are common, and numbers are super important in football, so we often look to open middle spots.
Since I will be unable to send out rapid fire emails with updates, here is a basic cheat sheet about what to look for in the buyback market! When I mention a % buyback, I am referring to how large the bet on the opposite side of your original line should be.
Ex: if you had a $100 bet on -2.5, and the line moved to 3.5, I would then play the +3.5 at $50.
Key Numbers in Spreads are: 3, 6, 7, 10, 14
Key Numbers in Totals are: 33, 38, 40, 41, 44, 45, 47, 48, 51, 54
If your line moves onto a key number creating a middle where you can win one but and only push on another, consider between 25-40% buyback.
If your line moves through a key number creating middle where you can win both bets, consider a 40-75% buyback.
If your line moves through multiple key numbers, consider a 66-75% buyback.
