The WNBA has a loaded Wednesday card. There are only 12 teams in the WNBA, and 10 of them will take the court. What is especially interesting about these games is that all of them are day games! The local start times range from an 11am tip, to latest 12:30. These early start times HAVE to be factored into our capping.
Throughout basketball betting, across all leagues like the NBA, NCAAB, WNBA, and even international leagues, there is historical correlation between an earlier start time and a lower total score. This is certainly in part due to a change in pre game schedule. A lot of athletes talk about their routine featuring morning shootaround, a workout, a treatment, a nap, a certain meal, and another pregame shootaround. Well when the game tips off at 11am instead of 7pm, routines change. These players are creatures of habit, so if the system is off, expect the early results to be slow, dull, and lower scoring.
