Here is the perfect example of how unemotional my betting is.
I really want the Mavericks to win game 5. I find myself rooting for them in the series, and a full week off between Game 5 Western Conference Finals and Game 1 NBA Finals would be a dream come true for me! I take no days off during the NBA season, and I’m tired like mfn Ant after a game 7!
That being said…
Wolves -4 (-115 DK, 1unit)
I gotta stick to my principles here. I have north of a 95% degree of confidence this steams out to Wolves -5 and maybe even -5.5. I talk about key numbers, I talk about respecting the market, I talk about reading the tea leaves to beat the final number and that leading to results. Well here it is. CLV before the -5 is a big deal, so sign me up. I legitimately want to lose this bet, but I also know it is a smart play. I think thats called an emotional hedge- win/win, either time off or I win money!
…until this game lands Wolves win by 2 and I’m a sad sad man.
